IRUKA karate club is run by Sensei Chris Middleton 3rd Dan, Sensei Tanya Middleton 2nd Dan and Sensei Carol Middleton 1st Dan. Between the three of us we have over 30 years of experience in karate.
Chris, Tanya and Carol achieved black belt through the WYSOK association.
At the end of 2009 they started their own school of Karate and IRUKA karate Club was created.
IRUKA is a non-profit club. There is no annual fee and training fees are kept as low as possible covering any other expenditures like indemnity insurance and equipment.
The club is run as a family club with a good friendly atmosphere.
IRUKA is a traditional Wado-Ryu karate club.
One thing that we promote at IRUKA is self-respect and respect for others. IRUKA karate club does not promote bullying in any form.
We are proud to be members of WYSOK (West Yorkshire Schools Of Karate and Oriental Arts) and to be a part of NAKMAS (National Association of Karate and Martial Arts Schools – UK governing body).
At IRUKA we train two lessons a week. Your first lesson is free so why not give us a try.
